“…the Sacred Feminine is not new to the New Age. It is ageless and from the beginning. The Sacred Feminine is in our blood. It is our heritage. You have permission to say, ‘God is Woman,’ and ‘God is Me.”
― Elizabeth Eiler, Singing Woman: Voices of the Sacred Feminine The Life Force that made the Universe possible, that which is the Seat of creation, that which is the power of Shiva, and is the ultimate Divine Feminine – called Shakti.
Shakti is who we celebrate during the Navratri period. We hope you are having a very happy Navratri period, Dear Tribe. These 9 days of the Navratri period are a powerful time to work with the 9 different forms of the Divine Feminine (Shakti) and manifest who you want to be.
Who is the Divine Feminine?
The Divine Feminine, just like the Divine Masculine is within all of us. It is not restricted to a male or female. The Divine Feminine is the energy of the following:
- Creation
- Intuition
- Reflectiveness
- Compassion
- Wisdom
- Collaboration
- Forgiveness
The Shakti within you is the Shakti within the entire Universe. Most humans have their Shakti lying dormant, unused. Navratri is a very powerful period to connect with the Shakti within us.
Manifestation tools such as Navratri rituals, mantras, different colors for different days, meditations, and more can bless us with the life we dream of. Connecting with the Divine Feminine energy is a dedication and a commitment to– yourself. Do you have the courage to do it?
4 Ways to Manifest Who You Want to be in this Navratri Period:
1. Learn about the Goddess dedicated to each day:
Today is Day 5 of the Navratri period, dedicated to the majestic Skandamata. Skandamata blesses her devotees with release from worldly anxieties, heightened Spirituality, and divine happiness. She is a powerful and fierce form of Durga who rides a lion and sits on the Lotus flower.
How can this help?
Do you resonate with furthering your Spiritual Path and less attachment to worldly anxieties? Connect with Skandamata’s energy through mantras, meditation, rituals, or affirmations, and seek her blessings for your manifestation.
You can do this practice by learning about the dedicated Goddess for each remaining day.
2. Mantras are Spells. Work with them.
Mantras act as spells and hold power to not only shift our reality but also help us connect with our Authentic Power. No one can take this Authentic Power from us!
How can this help?
Each goddess dedicated to each day of the Navratri period has a mantra that invokes her energy. For instance, the mantra for Ma Kushmananda is ‘ॐ कूष्माण्डायै नम:।।’
Set your intention and chant that particular Mantra to seek blessings of the associated Goddess. Don’t forget to perform this with gratitude in your heart!
3. Manifest Magic through Rituals:
The
practice of Rituals among humans is almost 70,000 years old. Our Stone Age Ancestors used to offer their spearheads (used for hunting and protection) to a stone python.
It is no surprise that ritualistic practices have been motivating mankind since the start. They strengthen our intention, faith, and connection with nature.
How can this help?
Make the best of the Navratri period by pouring your heart and creative energy into the Navratri rituals associated with each Goddess. Watch the Divine Feminine energy flow through you. You don’t have to be superstitious about following each step of the ritual to the bone.
Let your intention for manifestation be strong and targeted and do your best. Colors hold powerful vibrations, so don’t forget to wear the color associated with each Goddess. For instance, the color associated with Skandamata is royal blue.
4. Manifest with the power of Chakras
Did you know that each of the nine forms of Durga is associated with a Chakra? Balancing our Chakras ensures a healthy and fulfilling life, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
For instance, if you want to manifest heightened intuition, working on your Third Eye Chakra is the key. The Goddess associated with the Third Eye Chakra is Maa Katyayani. Recommended Read: What is the Spiritual Path
How can this help?
Find out the Chakra associated with the Goddess of the day and learn about the characteristics of that Chakra. Do a guided meditation for the associated Chakra, you can pick one from Youtube. Conclude your meditation by giving gratitude to the associated Goddess.
Lastly, don’t forget that the energy of each form of Durga/Shakti is always available to us, Navratri or not. May the Divine Feminine energy that runs through this Universe find a perfect balance within you.
