There are no coincidences, just life lessons.
All of us have been in a place where we wonder why things happen the way they do. Career struggles, relationship struggles, arguments, falling apart from loved ones, death, why?
No one is alone in going through
- Emotional distress
- Loss of a loved one
- Physical pain
- Difficult relationships
…and so much more!
What if you remember that you chose it all…the loss, the pain, the challenges, the relationships, all of it? Every major detail of your life, every event that has contributed to shaping you was planned by you before you took birth.
The Pre-birth Plan
“Eager to understand the suffering I had experienced, I asked my guides about the major challenges I had faced. They explained that I had planned these challenges before birth—not for the purpose of suffering, but for the growth that would result.”
-Robert Schwartz, Author, “Your Soul’s Plan: Discovering the Real Meaning of the Life You Planned Before You Were Born”
Consider your life situations to be the tests you need to pass to move to the next grade. All the difficulties and sufferings are all here to teach us our lessons. It may not be the easiest path to travel but it is what allows growth. Such is the journey of existence.
The people, situations, things, and places who teach us these lessons have been assigned these jobs when our soul was crafting our pre-birth plan. We make this plan with our guides and our soul family.
Your friends, family, employers, partners…none of them are in your life randomly.

What are life lessons?
“We choose our next world through what we learn in this one. Learn nothing, and the next world is the same as this one, all the same limitations and leads weights to overcome.”
― Richard Bach, Jonathan Livingston Seagull
Human beings are capable of a lot more than we give ourselves the credit for. Our capabilities expand, thanks to the lessons we love. Our life lessons are always in sync with our pre-birth plan.
How can we recognize our lessons?
1. Pay attention to your relationship patterns
We learn an ample amount of life lessons through our relationships, don’t we?
If one of your life lessons is learning how to stand for yourself, you could keep ending up in relationships where you are not getting what you deserve.
This could be in terms of effort, love, respect, or more. We learn our lessons when we finally realize the pattern and decide to break it and choose better.
“No more, this ends now” can be one of the most eventful moments of your life.

2. Our dreams can reveal our unconscious mind:
Have you ever dreamt about failing an exam or losing a partner, or something that triggers a negative emotion? Our dreams can reveal a lot about our unconscious fears and insecurities.
Overcoming these fears and insecurities are most likely, some of our life lessons. Make sure to pay attention to your dreams!
Tip: Start a dream journal and write about dreams that leave an impact on you. Explore these unconscious triggers, fears, or confusing scenarios.
3. Listen to your body:
One of my clients felt sick every time she had to pack for travel. She would get anxious and restless before and while packing; even if she were taking an exciting trip.
She always dismissed it as being lazy until she discussed it with me one day. I immediately understood that change made her uncomfortable.
Going out of routine scared her and packing was a reminder to break out of the routine, even if it seemed so harmless on the surface. Low and behold, she did come around to her fear of change. She is working through this fear by creating a support system and practicing shadow work.
4. Take the assistance of spiritual modalities:
Some of the most ancient spiritual modalities are becoming a potent part of modern spirituality. These modalities have the power to bring us closer than ever to realizing our lessons. Clarity on our karma, relationships, and situations in life can be dramatically changing for us.
People are getting more and more aware of the need to heal. Taking an Akashic Records reading or gaining spiritual sufficiency through modalities like the Automatic Writing workshop and the Akashic Records workshop can empower you to know your lessons.
5. Take the assistance of your spirit guides:
If you feel ready to understand life lessons and move out of painful patterns, simply ask. This might sound very obvious but goes very blindsided.
Sit in a moment of silence. Take conscious breaths, and ask the universe to guide you in discovering your lessons. The guidance from your Spirit Guides will come through.
Since learning lessons can (and most likely will be) a hard path, make sure you are ready to cross it! Working with a trusted spiritual teacher in uncovering your lessons can be very valuable for you.

I resonate with every word of yours.Very clear and lucid explanation you gave of life lessons. As I read the line if life lesson is to stand for yourself………it’s just exactly how I feel.Even sometimes I feel the purpose of life is also getting clear but somehow I am not able to take steps in that direction inspite of thinking about it and trying do many times.
